On the road again

On the 7th of July we headed out early from Washington DC, stopped by Georgetown and Arlington Memorial Cemetery, before setting course towards Nashville, Tennessee. Georgetown had beautiful historical architecture and a nice atmosphere. Music by Bruce Springsteen fits the streets of Georgetown perfectly. The Arlington Memorial Cemetery made a real impression on us. The road towards Nashville went through the Appalachian Mountains, with absolutely amazing scenery over the Blue Mountain Ridge of West Virginia. The ride took us a good 10 hours.
