We started the day off early with a helicopter ride over New York city. This was a perfect way to get an overview of the city before we started trekking around on foot. The ride was mind blowing and anyone visiting New York should do this! It`s not that expensive, check out heliny.com.
After landing we took a walk around the financial district, up Wall Street and sat down on the steps of the Federal Hall. From there we headed up to Times Square for some shopping and a New York pizza lunch. Later in the evening we went to the lower east side to visit Heinis cousin Alli and her fiancée Chris. They served us some excellent food and took us to some nice local pubs. We want to thank them for taking the time to show us around and for a great night out!
