Huangshan Mountain - Day 2

We woke up to a clear sky and bright sunshine, which is lucky this time of the year in Huangshan Mountain. At the summit, there are numerous peaks and look-out points. As we only had one day to explore it all, we decided to check out the views from the northern entrance. The walkways were narrow and in many places the steps were just attached to a straight mountain wall. The plan after lunch was to descend the western steps, total length of 15 km or so. The first part was mostly uphill, past The Flying Rock and other peeks with stellar views. After a 6-hour descent down the steps we got a bus back to Tangkou. During these two days we have walked about 25 km in stairways, we did not take the cable car as some do.
